Shelburne, VT Halloween Parade

Today we went to a Halloween Parade in Shelburne, VT. The weather was so cold and the snow actually start to spit out from the sky, but that didn't seem to bother the kids lined along Falls Rd. wearing costumes and waiting for the candy to be thrown from all the halloween decorated floats. Here are some of my favorite ones..ENJOY!!
MArv bundled up with a winter coat and a blanket.
A little boy who was beside us at the parade, he was so proud of his costume and wouldn't answer to anything other then Woody.
Luna waiting for the parade to start.
UFO float.
The alien children that go with the UFO float.
Once she was thrown a lollipop she didn't care about anything else.

SO DANG CUTE!!!

Once again another fun day spent in Vermont, just enjoying the fun and the people.

Halloween Eve Family Party at the Mall

Yesterday the University Mall in South Burlington was hosting a FREE ( you all know how much I love FREE fun) Family night before Halloween party, so we loaded the kids up and we went. There were so many kids there waiting to do the trick or treating and the lines were super long too.

Savy riding the mechanical bat car...
Luna and Marv in the mechanical train.
A quick picture while waiting in line for the next store to hand out the goods. I'm loving Marvin's face and Luna's sugar coma daze.
MMMM!!!! Chocolate is the best lip gloss!!!
Marv always ready with some kind of weird face expression... oh by the way he said he was a waiter man for the party.
Withchy savy
MArvinstine.

We tons of fun at the event and the kids were fine with the fact that we only did half of the mall because there were just so many people. So until tomorrow nights halloween night fun have a safe and scary holiday.

Happy 6th Birthday Savy!!

My oldest has finally turned 6 yrs old although he acts like he is about 26 sometimes. We really didn't do much just a homemade chocolate cake and ice cream after a nice dinner. I'm not so sure I am ready for what turning 6 has to come with since being 5 he has lost teeth and started being REALLY interested in VIDEO GAMES!!! I miss when the little turd was a tiny lil toothless drooling mess!!! But the us side is that I can make him do more around the house for the so called ALLOWANCE to buy those dreadful video games he loves so much. So heres to you Savy my love " HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY"
I hope all your wishes come true.. Yesterday, today and tomorrow..
Love
Mom

The Great Pumpkin Races on Lake Champlain, VT

Over the weekend we attended our very first Vermont outting. Thanks to Peter who called us to remind us that the Pumpkin races were going on and he offered to escort us to the grand event. I have never seen pumpkins at such a large mass before this day.. They were actually big enough for grown men and women to sit in!!! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day either.
Lake Champlain dock, where the races took place.

Group picture of the posse at the event, and yes that is Ruby with us, Vermont is very dog friendly. Seems everyone HAS one.
And the starting point of the race once again but this time with the competing pumpkin racers.
and their OFF!!!
Around the bend they go!!!
Couldn't help but take this picture! I am so in love with the scenery one can find around every corner of Vermont.
Court yard where we all stopped to enjoy some Ben & Jerry's ice cream.
Yes SIZE DOES MATTER!!
After the races and some ice cream it was off to Church St. to see what was happening. This is water fountain is located at the end of the street.
This is a picture of a LIVE woman sitting on Church St. She was trying to make tips by covering herself in white paint and sitting so still that I actually thought it was a statue until I saw a faint blink of her eye while watching closely.

Wordless Wednesday

A day at Canobie Lake Park, NH
