Spish Splashing at the Splash Park

On Sunday the kiddo's and I packed our pool bags and headed to the Splash Park located right here on post. It only cost $6 for all of us to get in and $10 for lunch at the Tiki Bar. ( Nacho's & Chips and an Ice Cream sandwich for dessert, I never said it was a healthy lunch but a cheap one never the less.)

Here are beautiful children. Savy is now 5 1/2, Marvin is 4 and Luna is 2. When ever I see them all together like this it makes me so happy and sad at the same time. happy because there turning in to such fun kids and sad because well because their growing up so fast.
Had to try out the water camera feature on my new camera that I got from Tony at Christmas.
Luna poolside enjoying the sun in her cute lil piggytail buns.
Marvin lounging in the pool..with a full body floating suit and a tub. There is no change hes drowning ever. He comes prepared.. also with all the crazy outfits he sports EVERYDAY I had such a hard time getting him to keep his wrist band on his arm that we got to show we paid to get in... Just goes to show Marvin is well Marvin so hard to read.
Savy WITHOUT anything to help him stay afloat at the pool. Last summer he learned to swim in Auntie Donna's pool and he is now getting even braver by jumping into the pool and giving me a panic attack each time he pencil dives to the bottom of the pool and takes his time to resurface.
Going down the big blue water slide at the pool. Marvin went down this too, but I was unable to get a picture because when you get to the top the measure to make sure your 3 feet tall at least and well Marvin isn't but when they told him he couldn't go down he ran ahead of the line and went down it anyways..LOL thats my boy!!!
This is the splash part of the pool..I like this part of the pool area because I can sit on my booty and watch the kids play with out actually doing anything..
Marvin & Savy playing with the water piano
Luna getting tired from the sun and playing her self crazy
This is a BIG step for Marvin..He HATES water on his head.

I absolutely LOVE summer time with my family.... The pictures are from way back in May..( sorry to family back home in Maine, whom were still covered in snow)

Just making sure Ruby is ready for the kiddie pool splash that is to occur for sure.
Luna and her new silly face she will make for the camera when you ask her to smile..
This is what happens when you ask Tony to help the kids set up the kiddie pool in the backyard..The playhouse slide actually slides into the pool.. not safe at all because about 10 minutes after this picture was taken Savy attempts to jump in the pool from the roof of the play house.
See what I mean!!!
Then its Marvin's turn!!!

Everyone loves an 80's Party

This year I turned another year older in style.. 1980's style that is!!!!

Staci Hutto & I sporting our 80's attire and the sign I made to express our love for the decade.
Denice & Ryan Muller giving their favorite hand signs to show there RADICAL enough for the celebrations.
Debbie & Dewayne rocking it out and showing some love.
Ladies group picture..the 80's sure had some diverse styles that everyone had fun showing off. In this picture (L-R) Staci Hutto, Mary Kelsey, Me, Denice Muller, Broom, Sarah Jacobson.

This party was so much fun. Thank you all that came and helped me celebrate another great year of being a girl and just having fun.

Marvin turns FOUR "Spongebob Style"

This is a very late post, but better late then never right!!! This year when I asked Marvin what he wanted his birthday theme to be he said "SPONGE BOB" of course I'm sure the only reason being that it happen to be what he was watching on TV at that moment.

Here is the birthday boy being strange as usual!!
This is the spongebob cake that I ordered from Wal-mart. Marvin personally picked it out..theres real toy figurines on it which is probably the reason he wanted it.
Heres Luna playing in the sandbox that his Nonnie sent him all the way from Maine.
No sponge bob party is complete with out the fish snacks in a beach bucket that you serve with a shovel..the kids loved this.
A pineapple and octopus dogs..
Hersey choc sponge bob candies... BIG HIT WITH THE KIDS!!!

And none other then crabby patty sandwiches.

Look who is sleeping in a BIG GIRL bed!!!

Its snowed in Alabama last friday!!! I loved seeing how freaked out everyone down here got at the idea of a storm. Schools were closed the night before the storm was suppose to hit. I actually didn't real think it was going to snow at all. It was pretty to see and made me miss my home back in Maine. The snow only lasted friday and by the next afternoon only a few snowmen still stood. These are just a few pictures I took during the storm while the kids played out in it. ENJOY
Its been a while since the last blog, but being a working (stay at home) mamma is hard to juggle. I finally found some time and pictures worth posting so here goes.

This is my oldest Savy he is now 5 years old and attending Pre-K. He loves learning and i love hearing about all the fun things he learns in school. This picture was taken before he got a hair cut so please over look the freaky hair.
Luna is now 20 months old and becoming just as silly as her older brother Marvin. I can't believe that she is going on two years old in May.
LOL!!! Classic Marvin, you ask for a smile and at the last minute he switches the look. I think this is called " puppy dog"
Luna and Marvin (hes almost 4 yrs old) Hanging out at the playground.
This a little girl that I watch in my home based daycare. Her name is Emily ( 2 1/2 yrs old) She is just like one of my own and so easy to take care of.. I like this picture of the 2 girls because they are always fighting like their REAL sisters, and for a few moments they look like the bestiest of friends.
